  • Occupational therapists help children achieve their developmental milestones such as fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination. They educate and involve parents, care-givers to facilitate the normal development and learning of children. They design individual and group programs and activities to enhance child’s independence in everyday activities.

    He graduated from Dr.M.G.R Medical University and has completed his Masters degree in Psychology from Tamil Nadu Open University. Mr. Sugumar is currently undergoing Board certified assistant behavior analyst certification from BCBA(US). He has more than seven years of clinical experience in the field of pediatrics with childhood developmental disorders and disabilities. He is specialized in treating children with sensory processing difficulties such as Autism, ADHD, ADD, ADHD, Learning difficulties and various forms of behavioral problems in children. He is a member of All Indian Occupational Therapists’ Association and a member of world federation of occupational therapists, he is currently holding the office as Co-Convener for the All India Occupational Therapists’ Association Tamil Nadu State Branch and Secretary for Saveetha Occupational Therapists Alumni Association. He has done an excellent service to the field of occupational therapy by creating awareness about occupational therapy by writing articles in various Tamil & English daily newspapers and has given interviews in Jaya TV and Raj TV at various occasions.

    • Physiotherapists combine their knowledge and skills to identify an individual patient's functioning needs and improve a broad range of physical problems associated with different systems of the body. For example, they treat neuromuscular (brain and nervous system), musculoskeletal (soft tissues, joints and bones), and cardiovascular and respiratory systems (heart and lungs and associated physiology).

With an overall work experience of 5+ years, Uma has been enhancing here professional career experience by constantly staying in touch with the industry, by undertaking relevant trainings and seminars in vital areas such as – Pediatric , Ortho, Neuro, Amputation training, Rehabilitation for operative and non-operative sports injuries, sexual medicine. She is a Life time member of the Indian association of Physiotherapist and a certified BLS practitioner.

  • Speech therapists often work one-on-one with clients and develop individualized plans to treat each client. Using written and oral tests, and special instruments, therapists diagnose the cause and extent of speech impairments and analyze these impairments along with language and swallowing differences. Speech therapists teach clients with varying degrees of speech how to produce sounds, improve their voice quality, and use oral communication more effectively. For clients with little or no speech capabilities, such as those with autism or severe cerebral palsy, therapists select augmentative communication devices or alternative communication methods. These clients, for example, are taught how to use communication boards and other automated devices, or sign language.     Mr. Vijay Laxman has Bachelors Degree from SRM and has a Diploma from Gipmer in DHLS. Aspart of speech language pathology, he has experience in handling areas specific to fluency,articulation and childhood language disorders. His technical skills includes PRAAT software (voice analysis), Alternative and Augmentative Communication (AVAAZ). As part of Audiology he has experience in dealing with new born hearing screening, Behavioural test (Pure tone audiometry, Behavioural observation audiometry, visual reinforcement audiometry, condition play audiometry) special test (speech audiometry, short increment sensitivity index, tone decay test) objective test (Immittance audiometry) Electrophysiological test (auditory brainstem response, Distortion product OAE). His technical skills includes using of hearing aid analyzer phonic, and hearing aid fitting.
