Admission Procedures

1) Please get the Doctor’s or Duty Medical Officer’s recommendation for admission (written and signed on the official prescription pad) – this is mandatory for the patient’s admission.

2) For maternity and delivery, pre-registration is required – please make the booking at least 1 week prior to the given date of admission.

3) Please provide all required details (date of admission, doctor’s name, procedure, and preferred class of accommodation) at the admission counter.

4 You may be required to pay an advance in case of a planned surgery or maternity, so please be prepared for the same. Payment made be made by cash, credit or debit cards. Reservation deposits are non-transferable.

5) Foreign nationals and NRIs will be required to produce their original passport and visa / PIO or OCI cards at the admission counter.

6) On the date of admission, you will receive an intimation call from the admission desk. (If you do not receive the call, please report the same to the Guest Relations Officer.)

7) The maximum time limit for day care admission is 8 hours – after this, the patient will be discharged or their admission will be extended (if deemed necessary).

8) Bed charges are billed at the end of each day.

9) Upgrading or downgrading of bed categories / class of accommodation will be based

10) If the patient were to be shifted to the ICU, the existing room has to be vacated. (If it is a single occupancy room or in a higher category, a request may be made for holding the room, subject to availability).

Billing & Insurance

1) The billing counter will be open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. every day.

2) Payments are to be made in advance. Whenever an intimation for advance deposit is given to you, please clear the same.

3) When a consultant advises discharge of the patient, it will take some time to prepare the final bill and discharge slip. As soon as the final bill is ready, you will be called to the Billing Counter to clear the bill.

4) For any problem regarding billing, please the contact Billing in-charge.

5) Billing queries and disputes need to be raised within 30 days after discharge – any query raised after 30 days shall not be entertained.

6) All payments are to be made in cash, or through credit or debit card.

7) There are no credit facilities for patients’ bill payments.

Visitors Information

We hope you have a pleasant experience when visiting your loves ones at during their admission and recovery at Bloom Fertility & Healthcare. In view of the health and safety of our patients, staff and other visitors, we request you to review and follow the following guidelines.

Visiting hours and number of people allowed to visit will be restricted in the light of the COVID-19 pandemic – please contact our Reception at +91-7299911107 for more details.

Visiting Hours:

11:00 am to 1:00 pm & 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm for patients in rooms / suites.

11:00 am to 11:30 am & 5:00 pm to 5:30 pm for patients admitted in SICU.

Number of Attenders:

One attendant is allowed to stay with patient on a 24-hour basis (including overnight) so as to be available to look after the patient’s personal needs. This is applicable only for patients in rooms and suites. Attenders will not be allowed to stay in the SICU, and will have to wait until the patient is moved to a room or suite if they wish to remain in close proximity in the hospital premises.

Passes and Entry:

Attenders and visitors passes will be issued separate passes at the time of the patient’s admission. Number of passes for attendants and visitors will be dependent on type of room or suite chosen.

Passes are issued by the Admission Desk at the time of Admission (for Attenders).

Passes are to returned to the Nursing Stations by end of the visit (for Visitors) and at the time of the patient’s discharge (for Attenders).

In case a patient / attendant wishes to request for additional passes, the patient / attendant would have to submit a written request to the hospital for the same. The application would be approved by the approving authority in writing with the Date of Validity mentioned. On production of the approved application the additional pass would be issued by Admission Desk, who would mention the Date of Validity on the Pass itself.

General Guidelines:

Children below the age of 12 may not be allowed to visit patient.

Bedding or bed linen from outside the hospital may not be brought in or used, especially for the patient.

Entry to patients’ room is granted strictly on the basis of showing the Attendant / Visitor Pass.

Attendants will have to vacate the room / bed when their patient is shifted to any critical care area or for a surgery / procedure. The attendants may then wait at the waiting are on the Ground floor. Attendants of ICU patients stay overnight in the 2nd floor.

Please do not bring any valuables (electronic gadgets, jewellery, etc.) to the hospital. The Management of Bloom Fertility & Healthcare shall not bear responsibility for any loss of valuables.

Please do not handover your mobile phone or valuables to any unknown persons or hospital staff.

Attendants in Single, Deluxe Rooms are advised to not leave the room unattended. If you are leaving the room along with the patient for any reason, please inform the Staff Nurse on duty to lock your room.

Use hand sanitizer or wash your hands before and after touching the patient

Please do not sit on the patient’s bed or touch the surgical sites, dressings or any tubes attached to the patient

Please do not come to the hospital for a visit if you are suffering from cough, fever, skin disease, conjunctivitis or any communicable disease.

Please stick to the allocated visiting times, and keep the visit brief.

Do not litter.

Ambulance Service

Bloom Fertility & Healthcare has state-of-the-art ambulances to serve you in times of need – round the clock. Our ambulances are installed with all required equipment such as defibrillator, oxygen, suction, scoop stretcher, spine board, head immobilizer, spencer trolley stretcher and lifesaving drugs. Our ambulances are manned by BLS trained drivers and attendants who are well trained in managing emergencies.
